Pilates has many benefits for the body. The primary focus is teaching proper breath, balance and strengthening of your core through a series of exercises specifically designed to create long, lean muscles. This series of movements provides a complete full body workout that mostly utilizes abs, back and glutes (often referred to as “the powerhouse”). You will discover a new sense of self; taller, elongated, improved posture and injury prevention through using your core in daily living. Pilates is most effective when practiced consistently 2-3 times per week.
If you already understand basic Pilates principles and movements, you are welcome to join a class at your desired level. Or, schedule your first private session at a special introductory rate to determine the best course of action to achieve your goals.
